Vacation Part II
After Miami, we came home for a few days for Christmas, and it was just lovely. Fun times with my gang, dinner on Christmas eve with good friends, way too many presents to open, and just general merriment.

Elf on the Shelf
Look who arrived yesterday:
It's Zoomba Tiny (P named him last year)! P went bananas yesterday morning when she came downstairs and saw him sitting on the mantle. The smile on her face was just incredible, and it totally made her day.
Of course I forgot to move him last night once the girls were asleep, so P thinks he must have fallen asleep there after B and I went to bed. Thank goodness for her awesome imagination! But won't she be surprised when she gets home from school today to see him hiding on the other side of the mantle? That crazy Zoomba Tiny!
I must admit something: Zoomba Tiny is a little mommy's helper around here. You see, when the girls start fighting and screaming I remind them that Zoomba Tiny is here and that he may tell Santa how they are acting. Terrible, I know, but also totally effective!
