Day 187 (Wednesday, July 4):
what a night!
the fireworks were fantastic,
and it was the first time the girls saw a big fireworks show in person.
this photo was taken moments before the flood gates opened
and rain made everyone run for cover (which was nowhere to be found).
grateful for beautiful fireworks and watching the girls' reactions to them.
and while getting caught in a huge rain storm is not exactly number one on my fun list,
it was great and we all enjoyed the chaos of it all.
grateful for looking on the bright side.
p.s. an extra for today because those buns are just too cute.
i love pale cheeks in the summer...
