365 Project - Days 45 - 48

I have been lazy. Uploading photos once in a while, blogging irregularly...I'm bad. But I am still doing the "Photo A Day" project, and I promise I haven't cheated. I really do take at least one photo each day to post. And it has almost been 50 days!

Anyway, here is the latest installment.

Day 45 - Tuesday, February 14:

there was a mom and me tea for p's class at school on tuesday.

i helped organize and clean up.

while i was cleaning, little sis hopped up on the stage and did a little dance number.

Day 46 - Wednesday, February 15:

this gal has a major sweet tooth, just like her momma.

i was testing out a new lens.

this was one of my first shots and it just worked out well.

(it was the best photo with that new lens that i took all day.)

Day 47 - Thursday, February 16:

we spread out on the kitchen floor and did some drawing, coloring, and sticker-ing.

l loves stickers.

she will completely fill a page of her notebook using as many stickers as possible.

she will keep going until someone tells her we have to do something else or go somewhere.

she just loves stickers.

Day 48 - Friday, February 17:

dessert tonight: pretty popsicles from trader joe's.

the girls and b did a little popsicle "toast."

whitney houston was playing in the background.

the girls had to tell us to "shush" numerous times because b and i were singing too loud.

we told them that the singer died.

p asked how.

we then got into explaining drug addiction and the dangers of the bathtub.

just your average dinner.

have i mentioned that our girls are 3 and 5?

365 Project - Days 41 - 44

Day 41:

the girls love jumping off this coffee table.

i'd be lying if i said it didn't make me nervous,

but she has gotten pretty good at getting stitches...

Day 42:

went to the pottery studio for a few hours.

had a great time, but missed all of the snow.

as i was about to get into my car i turned around and saw this.

Day 43:

the gals goofing around on the sofa.

doing their own take on the john lennon and yoko one photograph.

today i saw this little cutie pie come into this world.

(i could say i saw her being born, but not sure about the grammar...)

(i was there to photograph the c-section for a good friend.)

she is perhaps the cutest newborn ever (aside from my girls, of course - a mom has to say that, right?)

365 Project - Days 37 - 40

Day 37:

the girls and i got out of the car and i looked up.

the moon was just amazing.

huge and shining against the dark blue sky through the trees.

pretty.

Day 38:

the sun was setting as i arrived at my pottery class.

look at those colors.

i think the sky should look like this every night.

Day 39:

valentine's day is coming up.

we are having fun crafting it up.

Day 40:

decorations left over from l's birthday.

i haven't taken them down and don't know when i will.

365 Project - Days 35 and 36

This weekend was filled with activity, especially since we had a little birthday to celebrate! Little L turned 3, so we made sure to have lots of fun.

Day 35 (Saturday, Feb. 4th):

we went to the children's museum for one of her classmates' birthdays.

she spent at least 20 minutes hamming it up in this costume.

Day 36 (Sunday, Feb. 5th):

5:45 am in the bathtub.

at least she was happy.
