A Pretty Accessory

Look at these gorgeous water bottles:

It's a glass bottle with a silicone sleeve in beautiful colors, and you can find them here for $28.  (Yes, it's pricey for a water bottle, but if you carry your own water, you will never have to buy another bottle of water again.)

Area Rug - I am a sucker for this blue color!

Storage Cups - another fantastic organization tool

Storage Baskets - I love me some zig zags

Bedding - zig zags in happy colors - perfect!

Throwback Accessory

When we were in Miami before Christmas, we saw a few people using these and we couldn't help but laugh.  The POP Phone by Native Union is about $30 and it is compatible with iPhones and, I believe, Androids (but double check that one first).  Not a bad way to fight off the possible ill effects of cell phone use. And remember twirling that cord around your finger?  Good times.

I like the light blue in the bottom photo - which one is your favorite?

Accessories - vases

In searching for a mirror for our entranceway I came across these stunning Bambu vases by Laura de Santillana from Unica Home.

I find the forms incredibly beautiful, and while they come in a range of colors, this quartet is my favorite. The combination of the light brown, gray, salmon, and nut (they chose the colors for the names, not me!) is perfectly sophisticated and soothing, and if I didn't have a toddler I would purchase them immediately! (They aren't exactly a steal at $456 but "each vase is one of a kind" and there were only 300 of each color made this year.)

Loving It!

I couldn't wait until next week to show you all this bag:

It is the $775 Pashmy Messenger Bag by TOD's and I think it is absolutely incredible. As a mother, I am looking for bags that can be slung easily over one shoulder so I can chase my little girl around the playground (she just started walking!). I'm tired of toting around a big mothership (no, really, that is the name of the shape/design of our diaper bag by Fleurville), and I want to feel like I have a little bit of style again. I love how understated it is - no big labels or logos on it - and also how functional it can be. It would look great with jeans and a t-shirt (as I wear most days) or with boots and a skirt. It is just a great, easy, everyday bag that comes in grey, coffee (shown above), and black. I just may have to purchase the black version (thank goodness for leftover store credits!) to spruce up this mama's wardrobe.

Placemats, and Linens, and Towels, oh my!

Did you know that Jonathan Adler has a line at Bed, Bath, and Beyond? I am a huge fan of his, and I think that he has a great eye for infusing interiors with color and flare. Here are some of my Adler Bed, Bath, and Beyond favorites:

Half Circle Placemat ($2.99 each and quite fun!)

Hollywood Duvet ($89.99 - $169.99 depending on size; I love that deep blue for a bedroom)

Origami Duvet (also $89.99 - $169.99 depending on size; something a bit quieter if the blue was too much for you)

Beads Terry Towel ($6.99 for a washcloth; I love towels with some dimension to them!)
